Emily has been teaching for 18 years, the first 6 in New York City and the last 12 teaching Kindergarten at Academy school. Emily strongly believes in the importance of relationships and works both in the classroom and in the forest to develop children's sense of wonder and curiosity. She founded a Forest Kindergarten program at Academy and is committed to ensuring nature based, child directed, free play for all of her students.
